This year All West Communications awarded six scholarships to area seniors:

  • Sara Peterson, South Summit High School
  • Stacy Rosiles, North Summit High School
  • Leona Teichert, Cokeville High School
  • Zoe Turner, Green River High School
  • Jacob Williams, South Summit High School
  • Reghan Worley, Evanston High School

The scholarship application asked students to tell us how technology has impacted their education. One winning student wrote, ”… the use of online programs, the ability to get parents involved, and off-site education through live video interaction are among a few of the many benefits that technology has shown for improving the quality of education.”

We would also like to recognize McKenna Stephens from North Summit High School, Coalville, Utah and Miranda Miles from South Summit High School, Kamas, Utah. McKenna was awarded the Foundation for Rural Services $2500 scholarship of which All West provides $500. McKenna was one of 54 recipients out of 1300 applications — a great achievement!

Miranda was awarded a $2000 Utah Cable Television Association scholarship based on her scholastic achievements, community involvement and an essay on her school and career goals. Congratulations, Miranda!

We are honored to provide these students with funds to help with their secondary education and wish them all the best.
