In 2015, the FTTH Council released a study that shows homes that have fiber-delivered internet have a value up to 3.1% higher than those without. In other words, it would be the equivalent of adding a fireplace, half bathroom, or a quarter of a swimming pool to your home. For homes that have a 1 Gig (1000 Mbps) speed available, the value could be over 7% higher than homes where the highest speed available is 25 Mbps or lower. Contact All West to see if you are in an area with Gigabit speeds. If you’re looking to buy a house, make sure to ask your realtor what kind of internet is available at that location.
